STATEMENT OF COMPLIANCE
MODERN SLAVERY AND THE SUPPLY CHAIN
Organisation Structure
Monitor Group is a cleaning and hygiene company supplying a service to
clients in the South East covering Kent, London and Sussex.
Our Business
Monitor Group is made up of three Companies;
Monitor Cleaning Services Ltd – Providing cleaning services to offices, schools,
community, councils
Monitor Hygiene Services Ltd- Providing cleaning services to the food industry,
producers, packers and airline services
Monitor Services Ltd – providing HR, Payroll, Accounting and Admin Services to the
group.
Policies and Training relating to Modern Slavery within the whole organisation
Monitor Group is committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or
human trafficking in our supply chain or in any part of our business. Our Anti-slavery
Policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our
business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and
controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere within
our supply chain.
Due Diligence Processes
As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk we will;-
- Comply with the requirements of our Gangmasters Licensing Authority
Licence.
- Internally review our supply chain to evaluate human trafficking risks and
slavery risks.
- Conduct supplier audits which review all aspects of the supply chain including
safety, human trafficking, child labour and other legal requirements.
Training
To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human
trafficking in our supply chain and our business, we provide training to relevant
members of staff. All directors have been briefed on the subject.
This statement is made in pursuant to section 54 (1) of the Modern Slavery Act
2015 and constitutes our group’s slavery and human trafficking statement for
the current financial year.
